Hello Everyone! First of all I love this site. It helps me learn more about the behavior of a Siberian Husky.
My Siberian Husky name is Sherman he is a male. In my neighborhood we are surrounded with Siberian Huskies and there Huskies are friendly to strangers. Mine is not. He is kind of shy and does not like strangers to touch him. We always have a problem every time we take him to the Vet. Because he was trying to bite the worker there. To us he is so loving and very obedient. He listen to me more than to my husband.
Is there any suggestion how to train my husky to be friendly with people. It is really weird though because my step kid who has never see him since we adopt him. He didn't bark at him and they get a long.

Sounds like a case of needing more socialization as well as more formal obedience training! I had a Sibe that acted a bit like this, she never tried to bite but she shied away from strangers...the way we got over it was to take her EVERYWHERE dogs were allowed to go, Petsmart, Petco, farm and feed stores, etc. We encourage people to try to interact with her and fed her treats while they pet her, encouraged people to feed her treats, and eventually after enough positive interactions she became more of a social butterfly.
